Hi,
Firstly hi evry one, I've just joined, looks really cool here and helpful (as I've just bought 1st PC).
Just a quickie to start with..
On my company laptop, with XP, I can click on the downward arrow (drop down type) at the end of the web address bar and see all the addresses I typed in myslef.
On my new PC, with XP, these disappear whenever I reboot, or sometimes even close/re-opn explorer.
I checked " tools - internet options - general" , history says clear every 20 days (default).
I have re-set settings to default too.
Anyone help please?
I tried google/jeeves but all the forum threads I found were about how to clear it, exactly opposite!!
thanks in advance

You may have installed a piece of software that clears this out automatically at shutdown (various pieces of software that does this, tweakui for one), the easiest way however to keep a URL is to bookmark it, just click favorites / add to favorites, then y
ou can just get the url from there.
Hope that helps

Hi! Try going under tools, Internet options on your IE, go under Advanced tab, look under browsing and you will see a block called use inline auto complete. Check this if not already checked and see if it works for you. Let me know!
