I deleted a name from my list and it allows me to delete. However, upon
restarting the program, the name returns. Any ideas as to how to make the
name removable "stick"?

Greetings Joel,

You mean contact list I assume (not the sign in list)? If so, a number of people are
experiencing the same issue at the moment; unfortunately you'll just have to wait till they
get it sorted.

It sounds like the same problem I have. I think it's about removing the names of the sign in part, before you get connected on msn messenger. I'm wondering if there's anyway to get rid of the names that are on the sign on screen. My little sister and my
cousin made useless nicknames that they don't even use anymore but they stay on the messenger sign on screen. Is there a way to get rid if these names?

Correct the contact list; however, I have now been successful. It might
have been because I was NOT using the OK, instead of the X to close out the
action. I did the close out with the OK and it seemed to work. In fact the
name is now gone.
