Error message about CD

Recently this message has popped up more and more
frequently: "790: qttask.exe - No Disk" even when there
is a disk in the CD drive. I was able to just get rid of
the message and continue but now the CD player won't spin
up and windows will not acknowledge there are any files on
the CD. I have XP home and a MSI CD player. Anybody have
any ideas?

Mary Jo, how old is your System, CD rom drive? It could be going flaky.
Use an Air Duster ( canned air ) and see if
you can clean out the Cd drive when the tray is open. The lense may be
dirty.
