I am trying to u/g from 98 to XP home and have received
notification of a blocking issue as follows...
"Blocking Issues ...
Unsupported Hardware Configuration...
Conflicting Devices
Setup has detected an incompatibility between your video
card & computer's mainboard. Because of this, your
computer may not start up after the upgrade."

My Video card is a GeForce2 MX/MX400 that works fine and
in the Control Panel/System/Device Manager settings tab,
no errors and no conflicts of any kind are reported.
Furthermore, using System Information/Components/Problem
Devices, I get a message that says.. "There are no devices
with problems on the machine."

What to do?

The video card is using the drivers for Windows 98. XP is expecting that
the drivers must be signed (a new Microsoft requirement -- for XP). Just
get the latest drivers for XP (www.mvidia.com).
