I am installing an additional harddrive in XP. I keep
getting the error message"one of the filter drivers
installed for this device is Invalid". I found article
823774 in the knowledge base and followed the
instructions. It solved the problem of the hard drive
installation but I have to move my pc to a different
monitor everytime I reboot it. I can move it back and
forth between 2 monitors but moving it everytime is a bit
time consuming. I restored my registry back to the way it
was before following the instructions and now I am back to
the problem with the hard drive. Does anyone have any
answers? I am desperate!!
