I'd like to upgrade from win98 to WinXP but don't want to
loose my registry modifications. How can I import my
win98 registry modifications, preferably interactivly?
Suggestions please.
Thank you
Gail

The windows 98 and windows xp registry is different and you may find that
your modifications may not work on xp. Could you please explain what you are
trying to do with these modifications eg. block right click, hide drive,
speed / hardware adjustment etc.

There will most likley be an xp alternative to the 98 setting which you
could find on google. And some registry settings are kept or converted
through the upgrade.

You don't (mainly because you will not know if your registry modifications
are meaningfull or compatible with Windows XP) - you can just do an inplace
upgrade to Windows XP. This will take forward all of the available/valid
and correct settings from your current installation as well as applications
and data.
