I am trying to capture a still image from an .avi video
clip. I pause the video then hit the printscreen key. I
then open wordpad to paste the image but I get a black
square where the video was. Can anyone help please?

Intervideo has a free player that came with my compaq, I think you can download it from their site. (worst case they have trial period software) It has a fram capture featrue that works pretty well. You may also want to address this issue to the WMP 10 be
ta page to see if they might integrate this feature on the new WMP.

MovieMaker has a great image capture feature!
