XP Pro boots to selection screen

My newly installed XP Pro OS boots to a selection screen where I have to select either the XP Pro OS or Recovery Console. How do I get the computer to boot directly to the XP Pro OS?

Edit c:\boot.ini and change the timer to 0 or
remove the recovery console.
