How do i determine if my system is 32 or 64 bit? I looked
in my start> programs> accessories> system tools> system
information but don't readily see anything there to
answer my question.

thank you

Hi

You would if you had a 64-bit system. It would have 'Itanium' plastered =
all over it. Download the file from the following link:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/64bit/evalguide/default.mspx

You have a 32-bit system. Anyone with a 64-bit system would know
it by the two large dents in his wallet--one for the hardware and
one for the software.

The maintenance of the fans is the real downer - checking to see if =
there is enough air moving round inside. 64-bit is great for =
parallel-processing - beats the hell out of the 32-bit 'waiting' for =
another 'read' to come down one of the buses.

Did you pay more than $10,000 for it?

I'm curious, why do you think you need to know this?

Almost certainly, unless your machine came with a salesman with a fancy
suit, you have a 32-bit machine. 64-bit machines are very high-end and
expensive.
