Does anyone know how to make the status bar default to
being "on"? Every time I reopen My Computer, I need to go
to View > Status Bar and select it to turn it back on--
it's really annoying!
Thanks!

With only one Explorer window open, set it up the way you want.
Including the Status Bar. Then click on Folder Options> View and click
the "Apply to all Folders" button.
NOTE: The same thing will work for Internet Explorer's status bar. With
only IE and Folder Options open, set the status bar and again click that
All Folders button.
