This can occur if you have pop-up blocker installed, there
is an option in some pgm's that lock the home page,
another is with tweak ui. you can set a home page and if
you try to change it it will revert back. If this is not
the case to set it go to ei then tools, then internet
options click use blank, apply OK.

JC in need of help

Norton is permently on watch and I start up with Ad-aware 6.0 and just now I found in the Ad-watch the item I was looking for, the root key to the hijjacker.
I opened regedit, found the little thing and deleted it, but....that seemed not to be enough, because after restarting the computer, it showed up again in my Ad-aware and was sitting in the regedit again. There must be something else then, wich causes it t
o reinstall itself, but where????

I'll keep looking.

Cool now we know that you are infected with spyware,
download spybot, webroot, which I find it to find the
majority of spyware. look at your logs after you run the
scan and see if there was a pgm that it was not able to
get ride of. find out the file name then you may have to
go into safe mode and delete it. sometimes it is in
msconfig and disable it in startup.

good luck
