Task Manager Hangs

Every once in awhile when a program hangs, I hit CTL+ALT+DEL to get the task
manager, but then the task manager hangs. How in the world do you end that??

Although the task manager is a wonderful idea, it does have some faults
expecially when the system can hang by software. The idea of splitting
processes from each other so one wont stop the other has not been quite
perfected.
I am thankful we are not still using the windows 9x core for then we would
be presented with the blue screen of death.

I would say its the software that could be causing the problem by causing
the system to hang, along with the task manager. Could also be from drivers
being controlled by the software that you are trying to end.
