Hi All,

I have XP media edition and am trying to get my
microphone to work. I get an error message hen running
the hardware test. It says I have a problem with
dvsetup.exe. I read the article that microsoft has about
the accelleration setting, but that is not the problem.
Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated My spouse is
desperate t talk to her new grandbaby!

I am assuming that you have already read this article:

What I would try next is going to the manufacturers' site for your sound
card and getting the latest version of the drivers for it.
