Window's Update Fails to update

OK -- I am using IE 6 and XP Pro. I went to Windows Update
and received the following messaage:
Update for Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS)
2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1 (KB842773) failed
Security Update for Windows XP (KB841873) failed
Security Update for Windows XP (KB839645) failed

Now what?

Try downloading them directly using the Windows Update Catalog, then
installing.
