Re installing XP

My computer just recently crashed. The computer guy
installed Windows 2000 back onto the computer. I had XP
on it before it crashed. I now want to upgrade back to XP
and i do have the intsallation CD. I don't have the
product code though to install it. I was wondering how to
get a my product code or am i just screwed

This is the third such message from you within a few minutes--and
in two different newsgroups. Please don't post the same question
repeatedly, and don't post the same question separately in more
than one newsgroup, which just fragments the thread; instead
crosspost, but only to a few related newsgroups.
