Hi!
I have server 2003 runnig on network 192.xxx.xxx.xxx. I also have compters (xp pro, 2000 pro and NT 4.0 workstation) on network 193.xxx.xxx.xxx, there is no server on that network. I try to join these computers to the server 2003 domain.
I was able to join windows NT 4.0 workstation to the domain, but with xp pro and win 2000 there are following porblems:
- When I try to join xp pro to the domain (system properties -->compter name tab --> Change) I get error message: The following error occured attempting to join the domain "domain.com": The remote procedure call failed.
- I'm able to join win 2000 to the domain, but after restarting, I try to log on to the domain, I get error message: The system cannot log you on now because the domain "DOMAIN" is not available.
--I have configured DNS and nslookup works, so does ping.
--I use static IP addresses (not DHCP)
