ok here it is:
Computer A and B are networked together. Computer A doesn't even see Computer B and Computer B sees Computer A and B, but cannot access A. Both A and B are enabled to share Printers and thier Hard drives.
I have enabled NetBios and have disabled both of the Firewalls.
Both machines are running XP Pro with service pack one.
When I try and access A this is the message i get: \\Andys is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The network path was not found.
I'm pretty sure that i have given both computers permission. Also i know its not a workgorup issue i dont believe since Computer B can see both A and B.
Also have tried to Ping B from A and vice versa. Both A and B can also access the internet.
If you need more info please let me know what you need.
I have been at this for hours and this is my last resort please help me. In desperate need to get this up and running for business. thank you in advance
