Bad network card probably. You could try and remove the
card from device manager and re-install. Probably you are
gonna need anew NIC

The NIC is a built in one on a lap top....

You could try running the Ethereal network analyzer, free from
www.ethereal.com .

This will capture all the packets and let you view them. It may give you
some clues about the source of the packets.
