Why does my footage "jerk" or stop and go when I view it on movie maker?

Several possiblies:
1) Not enough power capt'. Bring up task-manager and then minimize it so you can watch the "CPU usage" meter in the taskbar while you are previewing. If the CPU meter is pegged at 100% -- that is why. Not enough CPU power will not effect the quality of
output from "File->Save Movie" -- it will just take longer. Editing and previewing will require more patience and imagination. Consider adding addtional Warp engines when budget allows.
2) Fragmented hard drive and DV-AVI files. Particularly on 5400RPM or lower RPM drives if you are using DV-AVI format and the DV-AVI files are fragmented -- you'll see "frame drops" between each file fragment. When Using DV-AVI it's a good idea to defrag
ment your drive before starting a new project an capturing new DV-AVI files.
