Pop ups

Recently, whenever I am using my computer for any length
of time, a pop ups will come up on my screen - whether
I'm looking at the internet or not?!?! Sometimes if I'm
playing a game, these popups will come up and interrupt
my game (making the game minimise to the start menu bar).
This, as you can probably tell - is BLOODY annoying! I am
a broadband user, but why these popups are coming up
willy nilly is beyond me! Has anyone else had the same
problem? And if so, how the hell do you get rid of it??

Then after you do that, get yourself a good firewall to prevent ports =
from being open to this very type of thing!
