Your PC obviously doesn't have those office apps installed. They are =
separate apps and need to be purchased, then installed separately from =
XP. Were those apps supposed to be included with your PC purchase? If =
so, contact the PC vendor.

No problem, just get in your car and drive to the nearest
Best Buy or other favorite store and purchase Ms Office
Standard, it includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
If you need the database, get Office Professional.

If you expected Windows XP to come with these, sorry to tell you
that neither Windows XP, nor any other version of WIndows, has
ever come with these programs, or any other application software.

If your previous computer running an older version of Windows
came with these programs, it wasn't that it came with Windows, it
was that your vendor chose to bundle Microsoft Office as part of
the package he sold you.

If you want these, you need to buy a copy of Microsoft Office.
Alternatively you can choose to buy another office suite, such as
Corel WordPerfect Office, StarOffice, or you can downoad the free
OpenOffice.

Those applications do not normally come with a new computer. They will need
to be purchased and installed seperately, unless it was supposed to be
packed with the PC, then you need to contact your vendor.
