Hi - I have a problem with my laptop (a sony VAIO)
running windows XP.
After the system boots correctly it displays the
configured user accounts obviously (only 1 user in my
case)!
When I select the user it clearly attempts to log the
user on but instead of going into the expected GUI
environment it automatically logs the user off and
displays the message 'saving details' prior to returning
to the user log-on screen.
I thought that the user account size may have exceeded
the amount of memory available but it won't log the user
or administrator in even if I attempt to do so in each of
the safe-mode options.
Any suggestions or tips?
