I just installed Windows XP Professional on a new Dell Dimension.
Everything went fine except I cannot get windows updates.
When I try to launch into Windows Update I get the following error:
Titlebar: helpctr.exe Bad Image
Message: The app or dll C:\Windows\system32\iuengine.dll is not a valid
windows image. Please check against your windows installation disk.
The Windows Update page loads with a message: "New Windows Software
Required" and an update button is displayed. I click the update button but
nothing happens.
Does anyone know what is wrong?
How do I "check against your windows installation disk?"
