My laptop have a wireless connection and a NIC card. I
would like to bridge the two together so my desktop can
get internet access and shared files from other computers
on the network. I have experienced several problems:
1) After bridging, the laptop will NOT get internet
access from the wireless connection (once the bridge is
removed, it WILL). It will instead try to use a dialup
connection.
2) After bridging, the desktop will not get internet
access either, and will try to use a dialup connection.
Has anyone had any experiences attempting a setup like
this? I have set up ICS successfully so that both
machines can access the internet, but the desktop is not
able to access shared files on the network...
Any ideas?
Thanks!
