Windows XP Home
The popup tool tip messages for items on my task bar (including the quick
launch toolbar and the system tray) initially (after boot-up) appear
appropriately on TOP of the taskbar. Frequently something causes them to
fall BEHIND the taskbar where they are obstructed and unreadable.
If I UN-check "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" in taskbar
properties the tool tip messages are restored to being on TOP of the
taskbar. But leaving this option unchecked causes the entire taskbar to
hide behind all other windows. If I go back and RE-check the same option
the problem comes right back.
Does anyone have a suggestion or possible fix? For some reason it works
correctly when I initially boot up.
Thanks,
