This has to be a software issue. Adding a second hard
drive cannot do anything to the pc. And it also sounds
like CompUSA screwed ya over. There is no way to loose
anything by just slaving another drive in. They did
something wrong, and may have also done something wrong
when they installed your winxp. If you know what your
doing and have the original retail/oem CD of windowsxp. I
would reformat and set it back up yourself. Windowsxp is
more stable than windowsME, its just more picky about
drivers and hardware issues.
