I work for the government and i don't have administrative
access to downoad certain things onto my computer. Is
there anyway to get around this to download Messenger? I
am so bored at work that I need something to occupy my
time!

Greetings Chantelle,
If you have write access to any folder, you can simply install say, Trillian into the folder
(http://www.trillian.cc), as its installation doesn't check for administrative privileges.
Also, there are some web clients around that you can use to use Messenger through:
http://www.wbmsn.net
http://www.e-messenger.net
http://www.msn2go.com
