Stuck in Stand By mode

I cannot get my computer out of Stand by mode by pressing
keys on my keyboard or moving the mouse. I have to turn
the computer off with the power button to bring it out of
Stand by. Anyone know why this might be happening?

This problem can 99% of the time be due to driver problems. Check your
drivers and update them if required.

If that does not work, try switching off or disconnecting any external
hardware before going into standby.
