How do I remove the dual boot option after a windows
upgrade from 98 to xp. I still get the option each time I
boot but I never requested the option when I upgraded.

Click Start / Control Panel / System, go to the Advanced tab and click
the Settings button under "Startup and Recovery". To disable the
display of the available OS choices, unmark the checkbox next to "Time
to display list of operating systems".

You can also edit the boot.ini file to remove unneeded boot options;
refer to the KB article "HOW TO: Edit the Boot.ini File in Windows XP"
at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;289022 for
details.
