I want to search for a text string in a number of Fortran
source routines within a folder but "Fortran Source
Files" is not included in the list of All Types and so
the fortran files are not searched. (This used to work ok
in NT4.) How can I include Fortran Source Files in the
list of All Types?

It's not there simply because there is not file association setup for
files with the applicable extension name. My only FORTRAN experience was
on mainframes 20 years ago. On PC's would it be *.FOR or *.FORT on the
end?
Quick resoution is to simply use the "all files and folders" search
option, and where it says "all or part of a file name" use the relevant
file mask, e.g. *.FOR or whatever it is. You can also use the "look in"
box to limit the search to only those folders that you know has FORTRAN
Source files.
