View Full Version : HOWTO: Show taskbar items in two rows when necessary
Is it possible to configure Windows XP Professional to show taskbar items in multiple rows, but only when necessary? So there would be a single row until you got a certain number of items in there and then it would switch to multiple rows?
Thanks.

No, this is not possible with Windows XP. You have to switch the
setting manually.

However, you may opt for the feature "Group Similar Taskbar Icons" or
whatever it is called. Personally I haven't seen a single WinXP
machine actually do this function without the TweakUI fix. Give it a
try. I find it very useful.
