Internet Explorer in XP no longer allows me to
access "Secure" sites. I can go to AA.com (american
airlines) but if I try to access the login page it will
not display. I can go to my bank homepage but to sign on
into online banking -- it doesn't work. Earthlink is my
service provider and we went back to default settings on
the browser and that didn't work. Cleared cache of
cookies, history, etc.

Still get email and can browse unsecure sites. Earthlink
recommmended this link:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;318378
Which gets into the registry of Windows requiring backups
etc. and the paths didn't work for me.

CAN ANYBODY HELP??

Hi Dan,

Check to see if the sites are listed here, if so delete them.

Go to: Windows\System32\DRIVERS\etc. In the right pane open your hosts file
using Notepad.

Or use this automated edit:
