Please. Would someone tell me where to download the fix
for XP from the above KB article!!
MS makes it almost impossible to get support for things
like that. I spent almost an hour searching their site for
this fix which I needed right NOW!~!

It tells you exactly where to obtain the patch - let me refresh your
memory: -

"RESOLUTION
A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
