I have this annoying problem witb XP Professional, when I
click on the switch user button (i.e. fast user
switching) the sound scheme does not work (i.e. I cannot
hear the sound associated with it). Have checked sound
scheme settings in Control Panel and the Windows Default
scheme is selected but have rebooted and checked settings
but with no luck. If I create a second user account, then
I can get the first account to work. When I delete the
second account, the problem returns. Could anyone please
help me with this problem. I have checked all the
hardware settings but I am convinced it is an XP bug. Any
assistance grately appreciated.
