setting programs to open files

Hi
I have set a program to open a particular type of file.
Does anyone know how to delete this set program so that
you get the prompt to come up asking you to select a
program again?

Naomi,

open Explorer and select Folder Options from the Tools menu. Go to the
File Types tab and highlight the file type you need in the list of
registered file types. Click the Change button next to "Opens with"
and unmark the "Always opens ..." checkbox. Click Okay, then Close the
folder options dialog and you should be set.
