i've seen a similar problem using ver. of Easy CD
creator, earlier than ver.6 . Fluke/mystery: cd's/dvd's
become non-existent on XPpro machine when Easy CD creator
first ran on system.
You can shutdown, disconnect the interface cable to the
drive, reboot, then shutdown again, reconnect the cable,
and reboot. XP is really pretty good at installing new
hardware.
