Hi,
when I backup my files to a CD using XP, the timestamp of
these files
change ? How can i prevent this - it is really important
to keep this
timestamp.
(when performing the same action on the PC of my colleague
(same
configuration, software & hardware) - this is not the
case ....)

Does anybody had any ideas

Thanks in advance

Hi Cedric,

No, it's not possible to prevent that. The files will carry with them the
date of creation, not the date of the the file from which they were copied.
Perhaps you could incorporate the original file date into the file name?

Try using an app like Nero. You can configure it to burn with original date
and time from the file
