Will not Shut Down

When I try to shut down Windows XP, I click on Start, Shut
down. It always hangs up on "Windows is Shutting Down"
and I end up having to pursh the button.

Can anyone help me out there???

What's your computer Spec?
I have the same problem as yours and I can't figured it out.
My only suspicion is the motherboard.
Mine is ABIT BX6 v.2
