norton systemworks

I have uninstalled this program from my pc since I had the
2001 version & they keep wanting more money for live
updates & I think it's a rip-off.I can't remove it from
the control panel's Add/Remove Programs.How can I get rid
of it?

Use SystemWorks' own installer. Start>All Programs>Norton SystemWorks> to
link to its uninstall.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. You've already uninstalled it but it
still appears in the Add/Remove programs.

Download and run the above cleanup utility, reboot your computer.

Actually you do not have to do a live update if you visit the web site and
dowload manually. Plus most major and useful virus companies have the same
policies.
