Hi,
Here's my problem, I've installed a 30Gb tape drive (IDE)
into my XP Pro system, drivers loaded, works OK, I can do
a manual backup no problem. But I am trying to schedule
an automated backup to run once a day.
I have set this up via NTBACKUP, created the .bks file,
and when the scheduled backup attempts to run I get an
error generated in the log stating NTBACKUP couldn't find
the .bks file.
I have ran this from the GUI and from the command prompt
and always generate the same error. The path stated to
the .bks file is correct "@c:\... \...bks" etc, etc, and
I am also running the /UM switch.
But still no joy, I have editing the .bks file, and saved
as unicode as specified on technet, but no matter what I
always generate the same error. I have recreated the
routing, .bks file several times, and still no joy
