Do you have your xp cd? There are 2 repair options. Boot
with the cd or if not capable use a boot disk 98\me,
start cd rom support. Go through some of the windows and
read carefully. It will ask if you want to repair (that
is the first one)Do that repair. If that doesn't solve
the problem, repeat those steps, but choose to install.
It will ask you again if you want to repair, Do that
(that is the second one)Read very carefully and go
through the set as many times as you need to confirm both
repair options. At anytime you can hit F3 to exit. The
first one will repair your boot files, the second one
will repair your system files. Good Luck
