My computer or for that matter any computer equipmented with a IEEE 1394 firewire card does not see my Panasonic Digital Video Camera. I have tried two different cables and recently sent the camera off to the manufacturer to have it checked out. How can
I correct this problem.?
Thanks

guess it's not your camera's problem, must be some problem with one of your
device driver, try to check into device manager.
by the way, u sent your camera back......just wait till ur camera back

Find someone with a cable you know works and try that in your pc. Or use
their cable and pc with your cam. This should show where the fault is. Cheap
cables, especially 4 pin, I have found to be a terrible pain. I now only use
good quality ones, such as belkin.
