I just got windows xp and cannot get an address bar to
appear to type in web addresses. Help please...

Hi Troy -

To enable your status bar:
1. Open IE
2. Select View-> Toolbars -> Address Bar

Hi there:

Am having the same problem with the address bar in
Explorer. I have clicked on View, then on Tool Bars, and
there IS a check beside Address Bar - but, there is no
address bar....only the word Address at the far right end
of the tool bar.

Would sure approeciate some help on this, and thanks!

Just drag that Address word inside.

Fixed it!! To "drag" the word Address, you must first
unlock the Toolbar. Voila - worked like a charm!!
