file manager window opening on startup

WinXP, on P4 with 256 mb ram
Clean install, one month old
Most recent installed program CorelDraw


I have a file manager window opening on startup, I can't
find anything in "start up" dir. I tried closing the
window, then restarting the system (used to work on older
OS's), no joy.
If windows is doing this, where would I find the trigger?
