Obtaining SP2

I have a site/Enterprise licence for Windows XP
Professional. We are a private school with 100+
workstations. We would like to deploy SP2 to the
classroom PCs. Because we are preparing the client PCs now
for September use, we need SP2 ASAP.

It is my understanding that organizations/businesses such
as ours can get this now without waiting until it appears
on the public site. Who must I contact to get it? The
person I spoke with this morning at Microsoft said it is
not available until the 25th.

XP2 will be available on Windows Update August 10.
If your computers have not already upgraded to WU5, simply navigate to
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com

If you cannot wait the few days for SP2 to appear on Windows Update, go
pay $200 (http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/buy/prices/) for a
Library subscription to MSDN and get it now
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/). If you already have a MSDN
subscription, go download it now. I hear it is an ISO image to create a
CD for SP2.
