hi, i have just installed sp2 into my laptop but to my horror, instead of
doing what it should have done, it has caused my laptop unable to log into
windows xp. May i know what ways can i do to revert the process? pls reply
asap!

Exactly what happens when you try to log on?

Reboot tapping F8
Select "Last Known Good Configuration" at menu.
Or
Reboot again tapping F8 and select Safe Mode.
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore to
Date/Time before issue started.
