View Full Version : Attachment Photo not showing

When I receive Attachments which have photos in them, they
used to show the picture in them at the bottom of the
email in a large box, but more recently, when I get them
now, I only get a small little box which has the name of
the file along with the size of the file which is nice,
but I want to see the photo. I ALWAYS scan for viruses,
but this is not my problem. I see this box with these
words whether I send them to myself or someone sends them.
Thank-you in advance for anyone who at least reads this.
If I need to send this to other Newsgroups, please tell me.

Hi,
If you double click the attachment, does the photo open? If so, that means
they are sending it as an attachment, for it to show in the e-mail it must
be an embedded image. Many e-mail programs do not handle embedded images
well, and the sender(s) may have changed their methods in order to
accomodate this.

Thank-you Rick for responding to my email, but I have some
responses for you now. If I click on this information
which as an example is my_rose_2003_bdonna.jpg
..jpg file, 450x408, 38k and there is a place to scan for
viruses so I can see if they have any, but I was in this
email and all of a sudden the picture was there which
surprised me since it was always there in the past. I hit
the refresh button and then it went back to the previous
message. I can't double click on the attachment, I can
only see it through downloading it.
I have Windows XP Pro and I am using Yahoo.
Thank-you for your help and if you can help me more, I
would be grateful for any help you could do for me.
