I just upgraded from windows to xp. One problem every
time I put comp in standby mode, mouse freezes every time
I bring it out of standby. I have to shut it down
manually and I updated still not working. Any help will
be appreciated. Thanks BOB

Is this a USB mouse? If so, make sure you have all your Windows =
updates. You may also want to check for updated drivers for the mouse =
and/or the USB controller. If this is a branded computer, you may find =
these updated drivers on the manufacturer's website.
