SP2 install error

Trying to install SP2 (RTM) from both the autoupdate and the IT site
(266meg) over RC2 2149. Constantly receive error message "Setup could not
verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic
service is running on this computer." Cryptographic service is running. I
have followed Kelly's procedure to delete Catroot2 folder and have also
emptied it. Same problem in regular mode and safe mode. Any suggestions
welcome

Try this:

Even though Microsoft does require it, I suggest you uninstall RC-2
before installing SP-2.
