Hi Diane,
I've never heard of the term prefag before......
Anyhow, to delete the web cache, go to the Control Panel/Internet
Options/General tab and click on "delete files".

A "prefag"? What's that? Can you clarify what you're asking?

rick gives you good advice
you are probably referring to 'defrag'
short for 'defragmentation' - a condition present in
'disks - esp the larger hard disks' since their
inception decades earlier on the 'main frames'
'defrag.exe' - is a tool option in windows - and xp
as it - 'reorganizes the disk files' and in the
process uses the most recent complete copy of
the file
however - it does not automatically delete
'temp files accumulated fr your web visits'
as rick has given you that routine
and
take it fr there
